Randy's Creations is just me and a work table: abstract fluid acrylic paintings, poured by hand and never repeated, plus glass vases I paint myself in the same fluid technique. No two canvases ever come out the same. And if you have colors in mind, I can pour those for you.
Every piece is poured and hand-painted by me, here in my studio just outside Knoxville — so no two are ever the same.

Every set is one of a kind — the paint will not make another. If a set has gone, Randy can pour the same colours again as a brand-new pair.
How it’s made
Nothing here is printed, and no two are alike.
Every piece on this site is one I made myself, by hand, one at a time. I mix the paint, I pour it, and I finish it — nothing here comes off a printer or out of a factory. Any piece with a price on it can be bought right here with a card, and the moment it is paid for it comes off the table, because there is only ever one.
The vase and the painting are made from one single pour. I stand the vase on top of the canvas, pour over both at once, then lift the vase off and finish each one. That is why their colors match — they came out of the same lot of paint, so the two really do belong together as a set.
Then I work the paint itself: tilting the piece, spinning it, or moving the colors with a hair dryer. What comes out is one of one. I could not pour the same piece twice if I tried.
Every painting comes ready to hang. I stretch each canvas over a wooden frame, and that frame goes all the way round the sides and the bottom — so you can put it straight on the wall the day it gets home. No framing, and nothing extra to pay to hang it.
How it works
I mix the acrylics, thin them, and let them run across the canvas. Where they travel, where the cells open up, how the colors braid together — that part is not up to me. I can steer it, and I can choose the palette. I cannot do it twice.
That means the painting you see here is the only one like it, and the painting I make for you will be the only one like that. The vases are painted the same way — I buy the glass, pour over it in the same fluid acrylic, and finish each one with a protective coat. When a vase and a canvas come off one pour, I sell them as a set.

For the season
Little pumpkins I paint by hand, seven dollars each. I seal one first, then pour the paint over the top and let it run down. Every one comes out different, so the colors on yours will not be the colors on the one beside it — and a few of them have glow in the dark paint worked into the pour, so they light up once the room goes dark.
They are for looking at, not a toy and not for eating from, so keep them where a small child cannot put one in their mouth. And they are only here for the season — the pumpkins come off the site after Halloween.

A small pumpkin I paint by hand, seven dollars each. I seal one first so the paint has something to hold on to, then pour the colour over the top and let it run down the sides. Every one comes out different, so yours will not be the one in the photo. Some have glow in the dark paint in them. It is for looking at — not a toy, and not for eating from, so keep it away from small children who might put it in their mouth.
Order one here and I’ll pick you a hand poured original — they are all different, so the one that arrives will not be the one in the photo. If you have a color in mind, tell me and I’ll match it as close as the paint allows.

Postage is already inside the price, so there is nothing to add at the end. Knoxville folk can message me and collect instead.

Every piece on this site is poured and painted by me, one at a time, by hand, in my studio just outside Knoxville. Paint on the table, a pour half done, a sheet I have just lifted out of it — that is the whole workshop.
I mix the colors, turn the cup over, and then work the paint: tipping the canvas, spinning it, running warm air across the surface until it settles where it wants to be.
That is why no two pours ever come out the same. Every painting here, and every vase, is a one-off — there is no second one anywhere.
Where to find me
I set my table up at craft fairs and markets through the season, and a photograph only tells half of it — under real light the cells open up and the whole pour changes. Come by, pick a piece up off the table and say hello. I am always happy to talk paint.
Every date on here is one the organiser has confirmed me into. If it is listed, I will be there.

A pour is a conversation you can steer and cannot dictate. That is the reason every painting here is the only one of its kind — and the reason a canvas poured in your colors will be the only one like it too.

Nothing I make is run twice, but the palette is completely up to you. Tell me the colors and I’ll work them onto a canvas — one piece, or a pair poured from the same batch of paint so they actually belong together.
